When you request a quote — through our online form, our AI assistant, or by calling or messaging us — we collect the details needed to price and schedule a move:

• Your first and last name
• Phone number and email address
• Pickup and delivery addresses, and the number of floors at each
• Your tentative service date and the type of service you need
• Any special or heavy items you tell us about, and anything else you choose to share in the conversation
• Whether you agree to us calling you back

Please share only what is needed for your move. Do not send us payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or health information through the website or the assistant.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we receive standard technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site or advertisement that referred you. We use cookies and similar technologies for this — see Cookies and analytics below.

Our AI assistant

The chat assistant on this site is automated software, not a human. It is powered by a third-party artificial-intelligence provider (Anthropic), which processes the messages you send in order to generate replies. We store the conversation transcript together with the move details so our team can follow up accurately.

The assistant cannot quote prices or make bookings. Anything it tells you is informational; your move is confirmed by a person and by a written estimate.

How we use your information

• To prepare an estimate and schedule and perform your move
• To contact you about your request, by phone, text or email
• To keep records required of a registered Florida mover, including estimates and contracts
• To measure how our website and advertising perform, in aggregate
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Calls and text messages

When you give us your phone number and tell us we may call, you are consenting to receive calls and text messages from St. Cloud Movers about your move request, at the number you provided. Message and data rates may apply.

This consent is not a condition of purchase. You can withdraw it at any time by telling the person you speak with, replying STOP to a text, or emailing info@stcloud-movers.com. We will still contact you as needed about a move that is already booked.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only to the extent they need it:

• Anthropic — processes chat messages to power the AI assistant
• Supabase — stores quote requests and conversation records
• Vercel — hosts this website
• Brevo — sends the confirmation and notification emails
• Google — analytics, advertising measurement and maps
• MoveitPro — our moving-operations and booking system

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of the business.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to understand how people find and use the site and whether our advertising works. These set cookies that may track your activity across sites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or adjust your Google ad settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you from requesting a quote.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and move records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet the record-keeping, tax and insurance obligations that apply to a registered Florida mover. Chat transcripts from enquiries that never became a move are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Security

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with reputable providers under access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card or government identification numbers through this site.

Your choices

You can, at any time:

• Ask us what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
• Withdraw your consent to calls and texts

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
